The most popular style I work in! Created using high quality cold-pressed watercolor paper, watercolor paints, and watercolor pencils, these portraits really stand out.

I start with a pencil sketch, then finalize the drawing with permanent Micron pens inking the portrait. After erasing the pencil markings, I start painting in with watercolor! Once everything is dry, I use a white gel pen and/or white gauache paint to refine white’s, add highlights, and add the “sparkle” in pets’ eyes.
